It's not necessarily because they want to, it's just a thing that happens. On here it's usually because someone wants to rp with them or they want to get on their good side for their own selfish reasons. It's not always like that no, but I see females on the net get treated a lot better than males in general. =/

In the grand scheme of things I'm sure people aren't really scooping to find out the gender of everyone, but I do always tag pictures of Royalty (when I draw them) as 'female'!

Ah well it really is a harmless misconception.

When it gets out of hand is when (and this happened to me over notes) someone calls me 'sir' when they think I'm a dude and then switch to 'hun' when they find out I'm a lady. That's when there are issues xD

Thanks! All other cons except this one are so far from me. I was looking at them yesterday... I think after TFF which is like 3 hours away, there's FWA at 11-12 hours. What cons do you usually attend?

The only cons i've ever attended were AC (the past 2 years) but I am not quite sure if i'll be going this year; completely depends where i end up moving to after school. i may move to texas... or california.. or up in montreal -shiver-
i'll be going to anthro new england at the end of feb but that's in boston.. :p

That's crazy far! What are the pros of each area to move to? I think California may be fun.. I mean I live in Texas and I kind of want to leave but that might only be because I've always lived here.

no specific pros and cons for each place, its really just all about where the best job offer is :P (or only.. lolol)
Texas (in certain cities) seems really cool! but i would definitely love california.. but i really really do love new england. it's just a fantastic place to live.
