Did you used a drawing from Spunky as reference?

I have no idea who Spunky is, but this char was created in 1998 as a 'time-filler-bad-guy' in a book I was working on

He began as a poseable plush I made way back when (I still got the thing, its oooooold) and sorta went from there.

Its like drawing a lion roaring from a side view, and someone else drew it roaring from the side, even though in real life lions roar

Funny thing too, the placement of this drawing in the story text was when Ari was about to kill off the protagonist in a fit of...well... rage lol!
On the other side of the page was a adjacent character reeling back, so this pose was necessary.
