It all happened so fast. Nobody on the planet was ready for what happened virtually overnight. Apes. Thousands, if not Millions, grew hyper-intelligent and began to invade homes, taking the formerly inhabited buildings for themselves, developing a humanlike society in just a few hours.

Effectively, apes have completely replaced mankind. Where did mankind go, you ask? Was there a war?

No. As mysteriously as the apes uprising, all of humanity was downsized quite literally. Every human being on earth was reduced to merely an inch tall.
