Just some doodles I did of Gabi Wulfhelm and Sabine Krissnacht. These are two of my most interesting characters in terms of temperment, design and relationship.

Gabi has a very hyper and active personality with all her attacks being focused on speed; she is the fastest Rheinlander, competeing with Kazuki for the title of fastest in Unholy Wars. But Sabine on the other hand is a stoic and dull almost robotic person with her ability focusing on defense; she is the only Rheinlander considered indestructable but she is slow and her offense is fairly low and her mind isn't very active (she reacts like a machine to stimuli if Gabi hasn't given her orders, Sabine will not know how to react to rapid changes in a battle.

In terms of design; Gabi is drawn heavy on blacks and her outfit is fairly simple and stardard looking (although it allways makes me think of pajammas for some demented reason) and is easy to draw because I need to draw her with a lot of movement. Sabine's outfit is fairly crazy by comparison with lots of little details and is very unique looking but I don't need to draw her in a lot of fast movement (also as my girlfriend pointed out to me, Sabine has small feet). Sabine's design also has a lot of hearts on it and when colored she is coloured using tons of bright colours like pink, yellow, red, green and blue.

Their relationship is also one of the most interesting in the story; Gabi is Sabine's captain and as such Sabine is naturally her subordinate but she's also Gabi's consoul, bodyguard, friend, secratary and possibly loves her as well. Sabine follows Gabi everywhere, without question and absolutely refuses to disobey Gabi's orders, no matter what.
