WhiteWolfSin 's character Grave again. I'm getting better at drawing him. That big old mane though, that was a chore in itself @.@

I was really feeling good about this one until last minute, I had saved the entire PDS file as a flat image to add the black and white outline to it, and my computer crashed, thus losing the original layered file. So, unfortunately, nothing can really be fixed on the picture at this point. He had a few more highlights in his mane, which were lost in the transfer from sai to photoshop, and I didn't realize it until they were already gone. Ugh. I was really feeling good about this one until that happened.

Either way, I'm sorry that the original file was lost and destroyed a lot of the shading i worked so hard on. I still think it came out good considering a few layers disappeared. Grave really made me realize how hard it is to shade characters that are straight black in colour, without it turning into one giant ink blot. If it's too dark, let me know, I can probably lighten it some but there's only so much I can do with the layers all gone.


I hope to open badge commissions some time after this next semester starts up, but I've got to play it by ear. I'm taking a math this term, so I may not have the time to do much drawing. I'll have to see how it goes, if all is well then I'll probably open a few slots at a time to make sure I don't get overwhelmed.
