The Second Mens-Amicor: Ghost (True Story)

So, here we are it the part of my life where TD has been with me for two Christmases. The second of which was a few days ago. (The Christmas to which I am referring is 2013)
But TD and I both knew that there was something off. This Christmas I... I felt nothing.
We didn't know why, I decided we wouldn't tell anyone (even if he could have)
With my Christmas money, I bought Pokémon X, which got me thinking about my favorite Pokémon, Cubone.
I thought about how the Tails Doll helped me overcome my fear, how nothing really could scare me after he and I became friends.
If I needed someone scary to overcome being scared, maybe with someone depressed we could overcome it together.
So, I decided to dedicate that next week to Cubone's personality, and making sure he had traits aside from just being depressed, as I was sure that would change.
After that week, the kindhearted, curious, and gentle soul known as Cubone, emerged. And over the course of the next three or so months, we would overcome depression, and he would help me through heartbreak.
The name Ghost comes from a fictional story I was writing in which a boy investigates a haunting noise coming from Pokémon tower, and finds that it is not a ghost, as he expected, but a mourning Cubone, who he names Ghost.
Ghosts' appearance is a slightly slimmer Cubone with a crack along the base of the antenna on the right side of his head (drew it on the wrong one here) and his green eyes. He is often (not) seen on my left shoulder as I walk about.
Oh, and yes, I have seen the face beneath the skull, and I will draw that later. :3

Oddly enough, even when Cubone breed, the baby is born wearing a skull, even though the mother is standing right there, alive and well. XD I always assumed that the "skull" was a protective shell that grew around its actual head while it was in the egg.
And yes, I'm aware that the Pokédex says otherwise, but I imagine it's more akin to a medieval bestiary than a credible source of info. Bear in mind that this is a setting in which grown adults still have no clue how Pokémon reproduce.
Interesting bit of trivia regarding Marowak's Ghost in Pokémon R&B, by the way: there's a glitch that lets you skip getting the Silph Scope simply by running from normal ghost encounters, then when Marowak shows up, use a Pokédoll. Ghost pacified. XD I like to picture it cuddling the little Clefairy doll as it runs off to Poké-Heaven.

That... Is an adorable image.
Someone needs to draw that. X3
I've always loved Cubone though. I like to compare him to Batman.
Parents are dead (or his dad's a deadbeat who's never there for him)
Raised by a caretaker (trainer/Alfred)
Out for revenge
Never kills anyone (lots of fainting involved)
Evolves from something small and defenseless to something badass.
He is... Cubat! XD
