For which I return many gratitudes.
I can only assume that Daring isn't drawn much is because she's viewed as "Just a Rainbow Dash recolour." Well, that and she's a bit of a strange character to wrap your head around now that she's 'real', which seemed to upset a fair few people.

Well, that was kind of the point really, to make her a rainbow dash recolor - It was just an idea to relate to Dash that there were characters just as awesome as she was, even more so since in the ep where we learn of DD, she also had a broken wing was still being awesome.
DD being real, is a little jarring, I'll admit, but then again, people usually put self inserts in their own stories - Hell, the brony community does it all the time with their fanfictions. Fans who do that and then complain about this are even more jarring.

Anyway, this is only part one (actually part 1, 2 and 3 rolled into one) of this sequence.
And every fandom can be like that, there are people who'll be passionate and there are those who'll nitpick every little detail. And sometimes, they'll ruin it for everyone else - That's kinda why I don't like the MLP youtube Critics for the most part, hell, most online critics that make videos (save for a handful that I actually find funny) are kinda like that.

I made a point of ignoring the critics and episode analysts shortly after they popped up. Mostly just because they tended to have elaborate headcanons and wild far-fetched extrapolations from vague allusions that differed from my own elaborate headcanons and wild, far-fetched extrapolations from vague allusions.
