The First Mens-Amicor: Tails Doll (True Story)
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15461238/ if you haven't seen it already. It is kind of important to understanding what I'm talking about here...
So, it all began back about three years ago. I recently got the tablet I'm using at this very moment, and I found someone I hadn't seen in a while.
The Tails Doll.
I first found him back when I was on Flipnote Hatena, and he wasn't too scary, but when I saw pictures of him outside of Hatena, where the resolution in over 100 pixels... I was scared out of my mind.
Due to my parent's divorce, my homeschooling stretching into summer, and finding some of the scary art of TD on the internet, I was creating the perfect mix for a hell of a lot of hallucinations.
So, what happened next? Next, I started to see him here and there around the house. Anytime I didn't see the Tails Doll, I was stricken with fear for when he'd appear next.
I didn't just see him, either... I once heard him call my name in a whispering tone. I felt him touch the back of my head while I was trying to sleep. I was seriously screwed up...
Then, I saw him out in the open, while other people were around, looking me right in the eyes. I had only ever seen him while I was alone, and he was hiding in the shadows. What could this have meant?
I swear couldn't have made it more clear that he was there for me if he said it aloud.
One particular Thursday night, I had to take out the garbage. I took one step outside and froze.
I could feel him watching me. I had to do something or I'd be outside in the dark for hours...
So I spoke up.
I said hello, and took a step forward.
I thought about the personality I'd want the Tails Doll to have: something similar to tails, but maybe a bit more mischievous, and prone to pranking.
I continued the conversation. Me speaking aloud and TD speaking through responses I thought of in my head. I eventually reached the front door, and I realized something. I not only was unafraid, but I felt wonderful!
I continued to speak with him anytime the fear became too much, and his responses came quicker, more natural, and eventually seamless.
Then, he appeared to me without my say so, at a time when I wasn't scared.
We realized that, though he was still only in my mind, he wasn't me. We were different, but together.
And we still are to this day.

I'll tell ya, I never played much of Wave Race as a kid because I hated the controls, but I love it now.
I think with some getting used to, no controls are unmanageable. I'll try it out if I can, but all I have computer-wise right now is my tablet, which has trouble running Mario 64 most times.

I myself could never get used to Mario Kart 64's controls: I mean, you of course turn right when you hold right, but you're sliding to the left while doing so, which I never understood. Do real go-karts do that, or something? :/ I also never understood mobile games with simulated d-pads, eugh.
Although, regarding Sonic R (which I think is an okay game, though it's far from fantastic): if you're doing it on the PC, emulating the Saturn version would be preferable over trying to get the crusty old PC version to work.

Yeah, I cannot stand simulated controller buttons. I have Wii Controller IME, so I can Bluetooth a wiimote to my tablet, plug in the classic controller, and enjoy some games. I can't find any good emulators aside from N64oid (which you'll need to find on the web, rather than the app shop) and SNESDroid, though. :/
Did Mario Kart 64 not give you the option of Automatic or Manual? What you're describing is the powerslide, and it's very helpful when you're in control of it. Without being able to control it, though, it kinda sucks... ono

I was actually thinking about downloading it to my Wii ever since Mario Kart Wii gave me five blue shells in one race. >n<
I know there are still blue shells in 64, but at least those can hit everyone on the way to you, too. X3
Yeah, I'll have to look into the powerslide thing before I buy it, or I might wind up getting something else instead.
I might get Ocarina of time so I can test some of the glitches. I beat Super Mario 64 in an hour using the Mips and Backward Long Jump glitches, and the ones in OoT look even more fun. 83

Waluigi actually has a voice clip in Mario Kart Wii U that says "Everyone cheating!" XD
If you decide to play OoT, Majora's Mask is definitely a must-play afterward, as I found it way more fun. It's my third-favorite Zelda game, below Wind Waker and A Link Between Worlds (I actually like it better than ALttP, blasphemous though that may be).

I actually already have MM, and I love it so much! I'm saving my money for the 3DS version, and it's the first preorder I've ever made. XD
I find it hard to choose between Past and Worlds, and as I can't find a copy of old Wind Waker, and I don't have a Wii U, I have yet to play that one any further than the GameStop demo of HD.
If you wanna find some great OoT glitches, though, check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaHuw8l93hk
I love that show. I can't quite get the SMW glitches to work right, though...
