"The Cracker" { Snapper } by tOkKa

A decade or more ago ..one mid-morning just off U.S. Hwy 27 in Tallahassee ..a transport T.G.R.I truck containing radioactive waste of Utrom origin narrowly avoided a jack-knifed accident by an oncoming 'SPORTS VEHICLE'. En route from the T.G.R.I subsidiary pant in Florida to the main T.C.R.I. building in New York .. the incident was marked as a close miss. Sadly the product inside the 'ALIEN ' truck was not secure and one of the toxic canisters managed to strike on the middle of the freeway and leak. The Vehicle nearly causing said collision 'DID' manage to strike a local alligator snapper crossing the road towards the center line.
Left dead for road kill. The creatures beak was smashed in the accident and face ripped off. The carapace was split entirely in two from stem to stern ..with the rip running down all the way to the back of the turtle's plastron.
Upon the exposure of the ooze compound entering this roadkill's blood and damaged body structure.. a mutagen of a different kind was produced.
Odd and end sightings by accident victims off the freeway, often late at night report by being attacked by a 'zombie-like' creature with a giant "SHARD" thing smashing into their windshield causing them to swerve and crash. Some swore it was a chupacabra.
The creature became to be known as the ' Cracker ' in reference to the "cracked" window shields and body-count of dead turtles and their ' cracked ' shells left in the wake of motorists on the highway.
The creature was not a zombie at all .. but a mutant. Of sorts anyway.
The Cracker was more 1/2 alive .. sentient and actually not evil at all.
Ally to tOkKa , Rahzar and all turtles .. but is quick to enrage when encountering anything resembling a humanoid making him very dangerous to the local populace or any ' MAN ' encountering the beast within the lakes and swamp areas.
A grotesque feat to behold..innards and bones of the construct of the creature dangle all over, with bloody flesh ripped from the Snapper's body showing portions of muscle and more bone.
Since his shell was literally smashed in 1/2.. that one half is his ' SHARD ' or weapon he uses against victims and to protect himself.
His skull and head are distorted and smashed in parts. Very little of his original beak remains. One good eye and arm are all that is left of the ' ROADKILL' mutant.
Often the attacks reported and sighting, were not real attacks per se.. but defence. < Cracker often responds to encounters with motorized vehicles violently do to the trauma he had during his initial accident.
Ever since his ' re-birth ' .. The Cracker has had a phobia of most anything mechanical in general especially large ones travelling beyond 75 m.p.h.
.. his alliance with tOkKa and any future endeavours with the infamous Snapper are unclear at this early time.
