I figured that since I was a musically-oriented li'l dragon, my first FA submission would be a recording that I, myself, made. This is the chorale to Ludwig von Beethoven's 9th Symphony. It's more common name is "Ode to Joy". It's also the first "full" recording I made (where there is a bass line to balance out the trebles of soprano clarinet).
This recording contains four separately-recorded tracks of myself playing B-flat soprano clarinet (three parts) and B-flat bass clarinet (one part) that were synchronized one over the other to form a one-dragon clarinet choir.
I made this recording about a year and a half ago while I was still in high school band and was playing bass clarinet, and personally, for the couple hours it took me to record this whole shebang... it was fun. ^^
The arrangement I used came from a little pre-rehearsal warm-up book that my band director used that year during the concert season. I liked the arrangement the book had, but it was for an entire band, and so every part in the score book (the one the director uses) was in concert pitch. I had to go back and manually transpose every separate line from concert pitch (C) to B-flat so I could properly read it.
Tools used: my laptop, Finale Notepad (for transposition of original adaptation), Audacity (to record & export mp3), the microphone to a Logitech headset, a Vito B-flat bass clarinet, & a Noblet B-flat soprano clarinet.
