Originally this was supposed to be just a regular adopt, but I kind of fell in love with this and wanted to make a species based on her.
They're called the Eira - a race of beings with wild colours and varied wings that dwell on a very colourful world. This particular eira is amphibious and uses her great wings to better swim underwater, but also is used to glide from clifftop to clifftop as she finds new places for her to call home above the great waters. Her horns have a faint luminescence to them, to better see when she delves deeply looking for fish, and you can still spot the vestigial feathers that show her kinship to the great, massive-winged eira that fly through the skies above.
I'll do a species ref for these guys sometime soon, I think.
