You come across a journal on the ground and look into it's contents.
I was hopelessly lost in this tomb as I hide in a small room, my heart about to leap from my chest as I heard the moans of the Eldritch that I had been desperately trying to avoid. As I saw the shadow of the tall figure outside of the room loom by as I held my breath. I recalled wakening up in that library, as well as the books that caused me to be thrown into this situation. The first book didn’t seem so bad anymore, the fish men and cultist easily dealt with, but the weapons I find are useless now, as the horrors here refuse to die. I peek around the corner, seeing the immortal monster at the other side of the room I snuck away. I had to find the way out of this world, and this was the only path left. I quickly made my way around the corner; the sound of grinding stones froze me in my tracks as I looked down the corridor. Standing before me was a Lizard man statue, its arms crossed and it’s eyes shut. It bore the look of the Lizards that roam this tomb, eager to kill me as well. However this statue scared me more as it was watching, waiting for the chance to strike. I knew not to underestimate this thing, the last one I saw seemed harmless, then I blinked, and it had its claws around my neck. I held my eyes open as I looked at the statue, I know your game, as long as I can see you, as long as I don’t blink, you cannot kill me. I studied the statue and noticed that it was different from the others I had encountered. This statue stood upon a pedestal and wore a sash around its waist, is this an effigy to a prince? I was brought back to reality once I saw a ladder behind the statue, as wells as monsters coming from around the corner, I had to hurry! I snuck around the statue, making sure to keep my eyes locked on the statue as I backed up into the ladder. All I had to do was turn around and climb up before the statue got me, it was now or never, 1…2…3! I quickly turned around and grasped onto the ladder, but my heart froze as I felt two stone arms wrap over my shoulders, holding me tight preventing my escape. The stone felt strangely warm, this was only a statue right? I gazed over my right shoulder as I saw the statues eyes opened, it’s head resting besides mine. I heard the monsters draw near as I felt as if my end was near, I felt my world close in as I was about to black out, but at that moment I heard a whisper in my ear. “It’s going to be ok… You belong to me now.”
(My actual description)
This is what you get when I start thinking about something and get inspired to draw it.
That being said I find these things scary (Weeping angels anyone?) as well as rather interesting. I drew it a bit different then what is in the game, don't know why but I wanted to differentiate him a bit, resulting in the little story. (Which I may or may not produce an outcome)
Anyway, hope you like this weird little image.
