Personality: Kenji tends to be somewhat apathetic, as some sort of neutral personality, especially when trying to handle something he's not interested in. However, he can be quite sympathetic when need be, or curious, or angry, etc.
Though Kenji doesn't prefer to pry into the affairs of others, he won't hesitate to ask someone in his vicinity if there's a problem. However, he won't go too far out of his way to help someone.

Fighting Style/Tactics: "Don't think you'll understand every aspect of my methods."
Kenji tends to watch the foe from a short distance, allowing him to strike close when able while still allowing him some leeway to read his opponent (Putting up a double team defense if able). He will also attempt to fake out or trick an opponent into doing something in his favor if able. He won't hesitate to attack even when the opponent is distracted. However if it becomes too risky to attack close range, Kenji will strike from a distance (at least... once he learns some moves he can use to do so).

History: The Watanabe family is not a very well-known Farfetch'd family, but nontheless known for its battle prowess. This is the family Kenji was born into, and the one he was mostly overshadowed in. Kenji's father put most of his training focus into making Kenji's older brother, Yuichi, his successor, and his mother game more attention to his younger sister through most of his life. And while Kenji's father did teach him as much as Yuichi, it was the latter that had more attention and praise. At first, Kenji tried to earn praise from his father, but after years passed, he couldn't muster the effort. At this point, he has looked toward anything he could find to work on his own self-improvement, and has taken up studying various battle tactics and tricks, which he continues to study while he's in the PCA.

Extra Notes: Seeing as it'd be awkward to fit this in the history, considering how it's set up, the Watanabe family has a (Not very long) tradition of having their children attend the PCA.
