Gah, took me long enough! D8

Here's my picture for the ShiXchange this month: Satellite!

This took so long, omg. The picture went through a great many drafts and ideas before I settled on one that was doable. x__x
Satellite changes color with the natural disasters that go on around him. One of the disasters included was viruses.
VIRUSES.
I naturally jumped on that and clung stubbornly to it, but the only problem was that it was asked that I draw the thing happening in the BG! It took a very long time to come up with this: Satellite standing and smirking (since he's rather mean~) next to a pyre built to burn the bodies of the dead.
I was originally going to have him standing among several dead bodies, but I soon found that it wasn't turning out well, so I scrapped that idea (although I WISH I'd been able to, that would have been so much more effective).
OH WELL. I'm happy with how this turned out anyway - even though the BG is kind of distracting. :[

I think my favorite thing about the whole picture is the hand sticking out of the fire, actually.

I'm sad the scan turned out this way, though. It ate the yellows/oranges and made everything really dark. Bah!

Anyway, I hope you like, Blackdragonschasm!! I'm sorry I took so long - doing a full traditional piece is not a speedy thing for me. xDD
