Thank you very much for your comment, the cape is long because I suppose that he occult his victims inside his cloak while suck his blood, and he use the cape to vannish or teleport to another site.

btw, regardint he clothing, the over shirt like piece....what is that actually called? i keep trying to find one off and on, for my vampire outfit...but have been unable...do you know the name of it?

Yes I know the pieces of costume are Cotton poet shirt with Jabot or legend shirt (is called in both ways), Black and gold brocade doublet with vintage glass buttons, red satin lace to simulate the belt, and black/red (red inside) satin lined black velvet full circle cloak with golden clasp and chain. ja ja ja this long features appered once in twin roses desgin page ja ja ja

yes was trying to get the main 'jacket' bit cuz i've been meaning to get a character going who is dressed similarly, but without the cape and whatnot, and he is ironically, while dressed evilly and whatnot, the total opposite O-o hehehe

My character emulate to Dracula of Castlevania Circle of the blood, Symfony of the knight and Rondo of Blood, but in modern times (year 2010 AC). In fact, the villains are dressed in this ways beacuse they can pay expensive clothes and they try to difference to the rest the people. Generally the vampires like to dress a renaissance or victorian style mixed with a modern maybe a vintage style, or not. You character can be good boy but he can choice the clothes of his prefference, obiuosly with a vampire influence. If you character has wing is a good idea not wear a cloak, but this character surround his victicms with his cape like Bela Lugosi.

and ironically, my vampire bat character, he traps his victims in his wings, as their wingspan is a full 9ft and then once he has them under a wing, his cape slowly hides them within as well...(i love the feeling and thought of a vamprie hiding their victim under the guise of the cape, and feeding 'secretly' hehehe is very nice^_^)

Yes is very nice, and also for example in the ova Blood the last vampire a vampire kidnapping and occult 'secretly' in his white cape a school's nurse, ready to feed of her. Yumi yumi

yes! i love that scene! my personal fav thuogh is always the male vampire getting the male victim (not trying to hint at guy-guy....but still! way better! lol)

and feedings like that are always the best form ;)

I don´t know an escene that a full cloaked (not cloak like robe) vampire getting the male victim, generally was with opossite sex, anyway the men's blood has much energy than the ladies, but the flavor too is more roughly, but the women's blood flavor is more delicate and smoothly, if you know an escene like this tell me about I need inspiration.

well i have not found any movies, or such of such a scene....minus the film 'interview with the vampire' as wel as 'queen of the damned' some minor scenes, sadly no caped scenes <_>

and yes male vitae (blood or life essence) has the feel of emotion and thught within it, giving it a wonderful taste mroe than the feel heehe, females have a naturally smooth texture to their own, btu theirs is oddly more prone to 'corrupt' tastes...but its because they have very loose emotions in theirs that when a vampire feeds they get a female as its such a quicker eaiser taste to get ;)

No problem, I found one scene in the new Batman the animated series called "The Batman", they has a movie Batman vs Dracula in this Dracula surround a male victim with his cape.
In other Issue I did´nt know that the vampires was corrupted with the ladies's blood.
The most impactant scene in interview with a vampire was the dance into wall and Ceiling , that performed one of this night creatures. I want to see an scene in an animated serie, that a anthro fox, wolf or bat (first without wings) perform a vampire transformation with a cloak into wings.
I imagine Scythe (KJBat's creation) making this act.

well, i know KJbat's Scythe has the ability to turn his arms into wings at will (if i am not mistaken) but for his cape/s...not sure of that....i did have a fox character of mine long ago that could do that, but he wasn't a vampiric being.....well, not vampiric for blood hehehe....
and oddly i have that batman vs dracula movie! :D i now desire to watch it again XD hehehe

techinically my fursona, hitomi shade the vampire bat, can make his cape his wings...since his cape is made up entirely of his blood, and he can freely control any blood he has tasted at least once for any victim (which he uses to cruelly murder his victims he finds 'not worth being allowed life' XD)

Is interesting that Hitomi shade make his cape into wings, in the anime I seing this with a crowman karasu of yuyhakusho and in the movie in a very bad parody of dracula that make mel brooks, and in the final scene of the house that the dripped blood, but the shadow of ingrid pitt bite his victims while ingrid flying around any light source like a lamp or candle, the real ingrid in this case don´t make contact with his victims like demitri or kain that absorvin the blood by telekinetic powers (if i am not mistaken), or the actor of Dr. who that bite by contact to his victim, but the cape not was created by blood, is magical
Where have you inspired to the cape idea? Is interesting, you was inspired of night walker that he created his weapons with blood, or AD&D Dragonlance, that Strahd von Zarovich has a cape made with skin of a bat, or any magic the gathering cards, a lady has a bat arm skin cloak.
Can Shade make the control of the cape like a normal extremity? Sound sinister and very good, you talk about begining of the character, at the begining on the story or in your mind he was a fox, and then turn into vampire. Well Count Arconium has a begining as knight of hospitaller order, like Dracula but he has belong to the dragon or red dragon orden I don´t know well, and he turn in a vampire because was infected and comdemed to death wit a poisson, and the vampiric blood inside his has effect with his death body. And he reborn as a powerful vampire bear

well, my story of Hitomi Shade is that he's an incomplete being, he also has a shadow that is a living being as well, aka Kuntos, (my alter fursona too)

Hitomi while aliving being has no ability to feel emotions...
Kuntos on the other hand is a false being, a shadow...shadows are ebings that are devoid of emotions...but kuntos has emotions...

basically what hitomi lacks, Kuntos has, and vice verse...
Hitomi's ability comes from his being an immortal being who was created by a demon lord, who while high ranked, only intended to keep Hitomi as a pet...just to have a travelling companion...but one day he left hitomi alone, and that was when hitomi began to evolve...changing from a beastial formed bat, to an anthropomorphic one...and from there he mastered his ability to manipulate blood at will...

all of my characvters are original, with things similar to another's work but i never find these works that are similar until like a year after i've made my character/s^_^'

and Hitomi Shade makes his weapons from another ability of his, not really his blood, but he could do that as welll shuold he desire to

(my fantasy story 'breaking seals' kinda gives a bit of character to hitomi, while keeping my real life ties to the fox within it, shade rinald...my lover^_^ hehehe...the fox who also let me feel more alive hehehe)

Ah, well I understand Hitomi-shadow are two different persons with a same escense like picollo-kamisama (is the unique example that I thoguht in this momment) Is how the shadow of Dracula has obtain freedom and this have materialize into a person.

no, Hitomi Shade is a vampire bat, his lover, Shade Rinald is the red fox (species not fur color lol)....so hitomi shade was never a fox^_^....althuogh he could easily manipulate his form to that of a fox if he desired, he loves his bat form best^_^'
and kuntos-hitomi are not exactly like piccolo and kami, but similar...basically two hlaves of the same being, but ultimately they're also more than that too...but comparing them to piccolo+kami was a decent comparison^_^ as they are abuot the same, minus that they can freely come and go at awill^_^

I always liked capes over wings myself, especially the style of cape in this pic. I would think vampires dressed in this style would usually cloak their victims in their capes and then feast, showing their dominance over their prey and subdue their struggling.

Yes the cape or the cloaks are much better than wings. I think the same. The vampires surround with their cloaks to the victims and then devouring his blood until the last drop, and if the prey will be converted into a vampire, his master show his power to his servant. I love his cape.

Don't vampires use the cape as a sign of affection? I mean, sometimes the vampire is kinda in love, but bites his lover anyway, and holds them in their cape in a kind of embrace?

Still like the design, I whish more vampiric furries have that kind of style, maybe that's why your style seems so original, cause not many artists take this style up.
