OK... So the flash totally washed out the colour of some of them...
The ones on my laptop I can't identify yet... when I do, I'll rename all of them. I think I have some obsidian there near the bottom... its layered shiny black... but as for my box o rocks...

*jealousy* ^^; You have a lovely collection! I just started mine in earnest a couple months ago, and my hopes at this point are only to get really familiar with like, a fraction of the stones you have. I hope if I get as many as you, I do half as well at remembering what they all are, instead of just what I use them for!

How old is your container? It looks like it has some years on it, and I bet it has that nice old attic smell too! Oh I love that smell! It's like you can actually smell the age! It's so awesome, and I'm so weird for loving it but I don't care! :P
(I'm literally biting as hard as I can on my tongue to keep from typing the innuendo of the title, because I know you'll just kill me if I do.)
