Eid Muzafr - Sandstorm

Eid Muzafr Mubarak! Happy Muzafr Monday!
Been too long since I've celebrated this holiday. Alas, it will likely be quite sometime before I can do so again.
I've discovered recently that I'm quite the master of side-eye, catching myself doing it...probably more often than I should. My scalesona here fits the expression too well, with that tight-lipped smugness to boot. Look at all the smuuuuuug. *throws on garrison cap and struts away*
With the goal of practicing more lineless work, I decided to go ahead and tackle Muzafr, heh. She gave me a run for my money, and there are some things I'll do differently next time, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
I wanted to take a different approach to her, using less saturated tones as opposed to the deep reds and golds with which I normally shade and highlight her. Also played around a bit with adjusting contrast and saturation on parts of her to draw the eye. I think next time I'll go ahead and shade her with my typical saturated hues and compare the results between this and that~
Critique is welcome. Please be nice, as this is my sona. :)
Muzafr © me.
Thanks for looking! I'd normally add something cheery here, but it's Monday, so to hell with it, hah.

It's the only way I know how to look. Haha. I'm spiky because I'm a desert dragon. I'm like an unholy cactus with teeth. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14459421/
