DfD: "...Yet she still won't do an adult Foxforce pic"
Y'know? I thought when I did that Krystal DfD I would open the floodgates on some primordial urge to draw grandiose perversions and enter the wide world of Furry Adult Art...

Soooo, when I came round to
NathanCowan and his final DfD slot I decided to go an extra mile and turn a single pic into a comic as an Xmas present =D
...Hence why this is referring to last week's Doctor Who Xmas special, lol
As Nathan himself said, his resolution this year is to practise patience, and I hope that indeed this shows good things come to those who wait =B
I REALLY went round the houses on this one, it took too long trying to trim dialogue down, originally coming up with some idea where Shadow has to lie low after an op finishes and her and the girls pick Jasmine's place since she's out of the way and all
One phone call and Jasmine confirms her owner is away for the holidays, she just has to keep the place clean and in order and he'll never know, so Shadow shows up, Christmas is spent, aand here we are
It was something beyond what I could manage to fully expand it right now, but, with Jazz and Shadow sort-of-dating this question had to come up at some point, but I think the comic at least caught the moment
I think that Shad may wait a while for the answer to that question, Jazz certainly knows how to stumble and stagger through a relationship, and there may be many more times when this question comes up when Jasmine may take one of her tumbles as she double-takes or just drops her concentration altogether, not that she's amiss to the idea of the two of them together
But perhaps certainly being in any kind of relationship with Shadow is an intimidating prospect, asking if you're good enough for someone else, wondering if you can get yourself ready to go that extra mile, concerns that you'll do something stupid...

I'm happy how this turned out, there were a lot of awkward angles involved and somehow they came out alright
And yes, lol, the Doctor Who episode DID nearly put me to sleep
Damnation, I was looking forward to it too, just sad I didn't- Well, maybe that's a journal for another day =x
UNTIL then, Merry Xmas in belated to Nathan, just wish I'd made this faster than the sketch, but somethings are hopefully still better late than never =3
And yes, showing off some Xmas gifts, Masterpiece Grimlock for Jasmine and Robots in Disguise Steeljaw for Shad, continuing Jazz's ongoing doctrine to try and get Shad hooked by offering her characters with canine featueres:

I have little doubt that Shadow of all people would know how to get someone warmed up and things moving in the right direction. Even someone who, as you put it, stumbles and staggers through a relationship and feels intimidated by it. But then maybe those tactics are only for someone she considers a mark, not for a true friend.
=B I hate to use a copout, but I do believe you hit the nail on the head, I like the idea she wouldn't consider using such approaches from that kind of closeness with her already there
But, I am a lil more worried about stepping on toes, which is why I pull back a little from anything happening as yet
If there IS a future for them somewhere, I suppose that's down to any future writings or consideration~

It's something I played with a little bit.
Overall, she's pretty forward with marks and less so with people she has feelings for. There's a bit in Technofox where Shadow's quite forward with Tech, but I think that was a bit of an exception. There's a bit in Shadowfox where Shadow directly propositions Jazz, but given the situation it's easy to imagine Jazz feeling Shadow got carried away and not holding her to it.
So I could easily see the Shadow / Jazz relationship playing out like this. Shadow's not being super-forward because Jazz isn't a mark, and Jazz isn't being forward because she feels clumsy and intimidated, so there's a lot of awkward dancing around.

It really bothered my bf that there were no wounds on The Doctor or Clara in the end. But because they very clearly pointed out the fact numerous times throughout the layers, I'm certain that was intentional.
