Gift for a fellow pika friend who is with Sparks looking the part of newborns for the new year. 2015 is the year of the sheep/goat so mareep was one of the choices to throw in there.
Technically the Chinese New Year doesn't start until February 19 so maybe a Gogoat for that date then ~

Another ultra cute New Years pic, Sparks. This is also one of the rare times, unless I missed it, where Sparks' scarf does not have the signature "90" appearing. Perhaps the 2015 scarf was a special gift to celebrate the occasion with his padded pika pal?
The background really does well at bringing out the feeling of cold associated with the New Year. January is known for snow and I got a shiver just seeing how it all looks here. Sparks looks like he may be a tad chilled himself.
So this will be the year of the goat / sheep? Nice! I did think Mareep was a fun Pokemon. It's also an ELECTRIC type if I recall.
