This is Galvarys, one of two main characters in my serialized fantasy novel, The Volunteer Maiden. Galvarys is a dragon who fancies himself a legend, though so far that legend mostly seems to exist in his own mind. Also, he's quite a taste for ham, and gets himself into more comical mix ups than he'd ever dare admit.
Nonetheless, the dragon once known as Galvarys The Wrathful owns a vast swath of land filled with beautiful, rugged mountains, deep canyons and valleys, pine forests and old ruins. There's also an assortment of human villages that Galvarys long ago made a truce with.
As the story begins, he's off to collect his latest tribute...payment in return for peace. He soon finds himself in the market for a new minion...
This truly beautiful art of Galvarys and his domain was done as a commission by amazingly talented

Lol, I guess you didn't see my recent journal. Go check it out if you get a chance. It'll tell you why I don't post here so often. But, I post on SF all the time. It's a far, far better site for writers to post their work, and for readers to enjoy it! I've got DitD 9 over there, Volunteer Maiden chapters 1-10, and a bunch more.
