I have a history of doing this to myself. The first costume I ever made by myself I was 15 and was like "I KNOW I'LL MAKE A QUADSUIT!!1! ThAT'LL BE FUN AND EASY"
But hey at least it turned out alright~ It needs fixing up though as it's reasonably old now (pictures of the quad in my gallery on here and deviantart if you want to see)
Anyway I'm off to continue work on this~

Yes, you put the padding on your DTD, and you make the pattern around that. I use the tape method as it's the easiest and allows you to put seams/markings wherever you like~
