Nice!

Were you using eight bit per channel or 16/32 bpc texture for the normals? I'd strongly suggest using high bit normals for any place where the camera can get up close to.

Blender doesn't offer that option, but I was saving everything as PNG, so it would have been 24 or 32 bit files.

Huh, I thought it did. But then, I've never been super deep into Blender; the UI has always been highly intimidating to me.
