The Muscular and the Musky 16
So I got a bunch of comics for Christmas, and among them was "The Muscular and the Musky" volume 1, issue 16, I felt like I should upload it and show it to you folks.
Ok, in case you can't tell, I'm just making stuff up. I was re-watching the entire "Angry Beavers" series the other day, and I had conflicting emotions. On the one hand, some episodes were amazing, but that was mostly due to their random nature, and I'm not that sure that I can call it an amazing series, but definitely among my very favorites were the "Muscular Beaver" episodes, where Dagget dressed up as....... well... Muscular Beaver! A superhero!!! He was very annoying to everyone, so Norbert dressed up as "Baron Bad Beaver" to fight against him, so he stops!
Whatever, if you guys have been following me, then you should know that my friend Yan does draw the 2 brothers from the series every now and then, and I love how he anthro-morphed them, so I tinker with that a bit, and just.... after watching so many of those episodes, I was eager to find out how his renditions of Muscular Beaver and Baron Bad Beaver would look like! So he drew them within a few days (because he's a real artist, and he can do that) and I felt obligated to do something fancy.
I looked for ideas by looking over some comic book covers featuring a protagonist and antagonist. Surprisingly one to capture my attention was this one:

Batman and Joker teaming up! So I remembered the "Muscular Beaver 2" episode, where the 2 did team up, and........... I got the idea! I spoofed nearly everything on the original cover, putting it into the beavers universe, came up with a tacky title, and emmm...... yeah.
I feel bad about how this looks. I feel like I could have done way better than this. I get the most satisfaction from the old comic book paper texture that I used, even if that just makes the whole image look less appealing... I was eager to make it look like a .......... real fake comic book cover of a cheesy silver age comic book.
