Commission for http://www.furaffinity.net/user/xbrackishx/ of their fox-dragon character Ire, who goes around setting things on fire and destroying stuff :D
Painting fire is so fun XD
Hope you don't mind the liberty I took to add those flying fire balls! It was looking a bit of empty so I thought it may look better with them.
Hope you like it and let me know if you want anything changed!

Mmm, where to begin on the finished product here.
First off, one negative: YOU DIDNT USE THE OBVIOUS PUN. Forest Fire is good, but Forest Ire...well it just...is a pun. I enjoy puns
Now to the serious notes, I saw enough WIPs to know this was about to turn out beautifully and you definitely didn't disappoint. The fireballs(while they look a bit like she's suddenly a magical creature) add some extra motion to the picture. They also make it seem like there is SOMETHING burning and having debris fly off, as opposed to just random flames upon the ground.
Your fur is very impressive, and the way it transitions between fluff and scales is exactly how I'd had it envisioned from the start, so kudos for nailing that.
I had originally thought her to be darker around the eyes, but I actually like how this turned out more than the original thought. The scales over her eyes are spot on however.
The entire piece captures her name very well, from the horns making her appear like a demon straight out of hell, to the fire you see burning in her eyes...and also reflected in them. The spines and stripes give her an intimidating demeanour, even if she wasn't posed the way she is, and the scales over her eyes are slanted perfectly to convey her sense of perpetual irritation.
Admittedly, I really want to hug her tail back their though...it's so fluffy, but definitely not a bad thing.
Indeed you have a knack for this, and I'll definitely be looking out for the next time you open up commissions.
P.S. Over on DA one of your commenters asked what Ire was. Typically she's referred to by 'Drox' for species, then 'Droxess' or 'Drixen' since she's female. Just something I noticed.

Haha I didn't even notice that pun XD If you want I can change the tile to Forest Ire :D
I'm glad that it turned out well and that you like it!
lol the tail does look quite fluffy and huggable despite all the spines.
That's awesome to hear! You were a great client to work with :)
Thanks for answering the question! I'll let them know.
