Over 9000!

Fursuiter
I recently reached the milestone of 9,000 subscribers to my YouTube channel (on Christmas Day, actually!), and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported my video work ever since my first fursuiting videos hit the internet over 6 years ago. I originally got into the fandom through others' public fursuiting videos, so as soon as I could I was eager to give back
Ever since then, I've tried to bring the best side of the furry fandom to light, capturing fun and memorable fursuiting moments from our local outings and charity/community events as well as all the conventions I attend.
I can't even begin to count the number of kind messages, notes, emails and even letters I've received thanking me for doing this, inspiring them to get a fursuit of their own or start a public fursuiting group in their hometown. Even others have thanked me for positively changing, or even saving, their lives.
In the end, I just do this and will continue to because I love it. I love the magic of fursuiting and putting a smile on people's faces, I love setting a positive example for others and helping inspire them to do good in their communities and beyond, and I love this fandom and the fun, thoughtful and creative people in it.
THANK YOU all for your continued support of my work, I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
I would also like to hear from you guys, if my work has influenced you in the fandom I would love to hear your story! (or how you came across my videos in the first place!) Also if you have a favorite video or series in my library let me know that, or any other feedback you may have.
Thank so much and have a Happy New Year everyone!

Congrats on the milestone, here's to a thousand more!
Knock on wood, we'll be celebrating 10K at Anthrocon together next summer!
Congrats on 9000 i know you will reach 10 in no time <3
As I've mentioned before, I was deterred from the fandom for some 5 YEARS from seeing those negative portrayals from outside sources, that stupid CSI episode being the biggest culprit. But, after a few chance encounters, both online and in university, I began to immerse myself in the fandom once again, and one of the biggest reasons for me confirming it was right for me was your YouTube channel, where I was given an insight into what makes a good Fursuiter, discover a few other Furries I've become a fan of, and most importantly, saw the magic that Fursuiting can bring, all because it came from your heart.
And my story is just one of thousands of other, far more poignant stories as to how you're channel has inspired and touched so many of us out there. I was just saved from leaving the fandom, but you've managed to save other peoples lives! And for that, we all owe you a huge, huge thankyou!
Three cheers for
P.S. A more detailed account of how I personally joined the fandom can be found here (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6344877/). Kijani is mentioned in part 6.
And you are so right, it does come straight from the heart.
I really hope to meet you at a con someday!
I don't really get around that much seeing as I'm pretty shy and rely a lot on public transport. And, because I don't drink as a rule, the fact that everywhere my friends like to go seems to be alcohol-based kind of alienates me. Not once have I EVER been in a Nightclub!
And, if I'm being honest, I'm probably way more tight with my money than I should be. There's nothing wrong with saving up, but I never seem to have anything to save up for! Christmas is a really weird time for me because I walk around town and I'm like "Oh yeah, people do this thing they call "shopping"."
Maybe that'll be something that changes about me by joining the community. I now know where the nearest Furmeets are and, maybe after going to those a few times, I'll say to myself "I like these people, I'll pay some money to be around more like them... and some extra for dressing up," ha ha
Anyways, thanks again for reading my super-long story as well as my long comments (I've seriously gotta learn how to condense what I write ) and, if I ever do attend a convention, I hope it'll be one where you're there too
And in turn it was getting my first fursuit in 2013 that brought me to the furry fandom and the rest of its art and magic, so I had a very positive impression of it from the start. ~ And here I am, I guess!
Your story is nothing but inspiring and I wish you the very best with all of your endeavors to get a group started there in Switzerland. I am extremely looking forward to finally meeting you in person! Thanks so much for your kind words and support
With me, I started watching your fursuit videos and thought to myself "I want to do something like that!" I adore giving back to the community, and I've always wanted to give a go at being a mascot/fursuiter, so I commissioned a fursuit, and started by doing an appearance at my synagogue for a holiday party with the preschool. The kids loved me, and even though I wished there was air conditioning in my fursuit, I had a great time!
But, I feel my most rewarding experiences are with this preschool that is part of an organization called the RCMA (Redlands Christian Migrant Association). They help provide a place for the children of migrant workers to learn and be safe in their preschool years while their parents work out in the field. These kids don't really get to go to Disney World to see Mickey Mouse and the others, so I wanted to give a bit of magic back. They loved me as well. :)
If you had not posted those videos, I would not have been as excited to fursuit! I want to give you a big thanks for that. You've inspired me and so many others with those videos. :)
(...if I ever finish ANY of the suits I'm working on. )
