Finally finished after many months of work. My last painting of 2014. It has been a weird year, but I can't blame the subject matter on the year, I'm pretty weird anyway. :)

YES! That's what struck me the most about them was the TEXTURE in the backgrounds. The digital work always struck me as more along the cel art you have done in the past. But the acrylics really seemed to have awaken something in yah. Can't wait to see what other things you do with them. :)
Dawwww tis truly another masterpiece!! Me so loves the river and the nice grassy riverbank :D Somebody in the river does look happy to finally see someone floating in ^^ Love them little mushrooms too :P and that wee rock on the grass :D And you're weird? :P Nah, when tis comes to weirdness, me afraid the Ducky takes the cake ROFL
Hey gatorness, much thanks! Yeah I love that wild, dreamy colorful background too, much different from the digital piece indeed. And yes! Acrylics are super paints, they hold color and you can use them thick or thin (like watercolors). Acrylics are my "go to" paints for sure. :) Are you ready for the new year?
