The Last Time....
I was up in Newcastle last Saturday (20/12/14) to grab some pics up here. Anybody that lives in the vicinity of the Hunter Valley or Central Coast of NSW will know what I am talking about here: Our government is going to do possibly the stupidest thing it could do...close a railway line into a regional city! I am helping to fight against the closure of Newcastle and Civic Railway Stations. This picture was taken at Newcastle station at about 6pm as an electric Intercity V set and Diesel Hunter Railcar sat, taking on passengers before returning to Sydney Central and Maitland respectively. Sadly, I have a feeling that I was standing on the platforms of Newcastle Station for the last time.

Typical government urban planning bullshit. They want everyone to live in one place all ontop of each other, pay huge mortgages or rent whilst living in a shoe box looking over a car park with some fuck wit on a 457 visa living next door rooting a bogan hoping to get a permanent visa.
Yea money is very important but seriously their "eco city" one day and "lets all live in shoe boxes" the next.
