As a matter of fact... yes, the monkey clan is part of that alliance as well, since they have been in the southern lands for awhile (as well as a few other minor clans who're aligned with 'em for power.)

Yeah, it's possible, since after all, the "Wolf" and "Dog" gods were actually siblings! (Godly DNA doesn't play by our own genetic rules after all. :P ) Yet the way the "Wolf" clan attained power in the early days was by quickly appealing to their brother clan and becoming such a tight ally that in the modern day, "Wolf" and "Dog" are practically interchangeable. :P
