Well this was a short story (ie: 700-1000 words) I did for a contest over on DA.
I figured I'd share here so as to not leave out my loyal readers.
This was a new experience for me...keeping myself limited to 1000 words when I normally work to get at least DOUBLE that if not triple in some cases. But it was fun having to try something new like this and I'm happy with the end result.
