I think these guys are pretty much the most unnerving creatures I've seen in any series.
Everything about them. Especially the way they speak. It's like...plaintive but commanding, at the same time. Like you'd have to put an exclamation point and question mark on everything they say.
Plus knowing that a living sentient creature is in each of those. The Doctor said it best. "No wonder they scream".
Plus the fact that they can and will not hesitate to murder you and everyone you love and everyone else it can find...
Aside from that....
It's a real cool bit of construction.
