Hello!
It's been too long since I submitted a nice, no-nonsense, nothing-to-prove piece and since I've not drawn in a couple of months, I decided to go with something simple and draw a portrait of Tene.
"He's wearing a scarf!" I hear some of you say. Yes, he's wearing a scarf.
So, this piece was coloured with pastel pencils. I love that medium and finally, I've got the technique nailed for it. I now understand how good mechanical pencils are and may have to invest in some soon. I do hope they can make use of different grades of lead.
But yeah, I know this isn't exactly catering to what most of my watchers would really like to see, but it was still fun to make and I hope you like it!

I fear that Tene has become a very boring character to most people... I don't mind, really, but there's nothing that makes him stand out. I gave him the scarf because I've been wearing this scarf lately and its colour works with orange. I quickly sketched Tene wearing a scarf (from a photo of myself wearing it) and I thought it looked really neat.

He does! That scarf I'm wearing in my Skype pic is just that! Very dapper, I suppose! Dapper enough to blend right in with your steampunk universe, I hope! I'll have to find him a pair of tiger-friendly alchemist goggles!
