Even though I'm pretty sure I have more than two notices to give you guys ;aksldfj;sdf. OhWellCallingItTwinPeeksAnyway
I. COMMISSIONS
Commissions are still open! I am not sure how much more I will take on, however. I still have13-14 17 notes to reply to about commissions that have not been accepted yet, and I'll be replying to those now first thing December 18th.
To give you guys a sort of gameplan here, I am hoping to start work on the accepted commissions tonight. Depending on how many I'm able to work through, I may either keep my status open OR if I'm working a little bit slower due to outside influences, I may temporarily close.
I will be removing the option to order holiday/Christmas/New Years themes on December 22nd. As a means to hopefully get any and all themed commissions out to you guys before those holidays pass.
I plan on keeping the 'winter/seasonal' themes open through January- or at least until I officially close again.
II. POSSIBLE INTERFERENCE
Unfortunately, one of my mice is currently sick. She started having breathing trouble yesterday morning, and Dr. Walker diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection. URI's are common in pet rodents, but can become very serious very quickly; especially in her case where she was beginning to develop pneumonia.
So now I'm dealing with the nerve-racking experience of trying to feed an unhappy, unwilling sick mouse her twice-a-day doses of 100mg Baytril/Doxycycline.
She is vastly unappreciative of the extra $25 I spent to have Banana-nut flavoring added to make it less unpleasant for her.
But after trying to make her and her two sisters Christmas sweaters, I have learned that there are many things that mice are unappreciative of. I'll refer to that dark day as the 'SweaterFiasco'.
At least she seems a little less pissed when you offer her strawberry yogurt treats or pumpkin seeds after each medicine-administering-wrestling-match.
Hopefully because we caught it early, she'll be perfectly fine and back to normal. This SHOULDN'T interfere with my productivity and art on here. But in the event that it does for some reason, you guys have a heads up as to what's going on in the background.
Oh, and just because I'm a proud mother hen-

Back to the grind.

Oh my gosh I hope she gets better really soon! One of the mice at my job was having a breathing issue too. Unfortunately I wasn't able to save her :c (p. sure it had something to do with there being so many in one cage. I wish we had more room) But I'm totally cheering your little mouse on!
Ahhhh I wish my money would get in my PayPal already ;n;
One of these days I will have gorgeous art from gorgeous lady u vu
Also I hope lil babby feels better! I know how horrible it is to deal with a sick rodent. My ratties passed from what I assume was URIs.
Strong vibes for you guys!!
