Along with copious amounts of workout equipment to stay in shape and then some, a membership at this gym comes with use of the largest pool in the area code, sports courts/fields, a massive sauna, services from professional masseurs, accommodations, if desired, at a built-in five star hotel and free reign of the cafeteria court.
Calling the cafeteria there a 'court', however, is a massive understatement.
It's the size of a large mall, containing branches of every fast-food establishment on the planet (almost literally[seems kind of counter-productive,no?]) and numerous multiple-star restaurants.
Once a member there, absolutely everything is free of charge.
Seeing as a year membership costs more than an average person would earn in a lifetime, however, free reign of the place is more or less justified.
Only the very-well off, obviously, are able to afford to go there.
'Outsiders', most of whom attend the same gym as Nahlga, like to imagine living there if they could get their hands on membership.
And that's exactly what Nahlga intends to do.
Three months from now, at the end of summer, this gym is holding a dead lift contest. The amount of weight anyone attending the competition needs to lift is set above the gym, and world, record at 1500lbs.
Although attending/participating in the contest is 100% free, the idea of just how much weight they'd have to dead lift turns away the majority of wanna-be contenders.
Everyone but Nahlga doesn't even dream of training to attempt such a feat.
After voicing her will to give it a go to her friend and spotting partner, he provides a recipe for a weight gain shake that should help her put on muscle as quickly as possible and they work out a vicious work out regimen for her to follow for the next few months.
