TJ all snug in his bed, was awoken one winter night by a clattering sound on the lawn. He peeked out the window to see what was the matter.

Throwing open the shutters, and lifting he sash he peered to the lawn to see a caribou standing there. Being lit by the moonlight, TJ peered down at the creature, and decided it looked hungry.

TJ snuck downstairs to the kitchen, and quietly opened the fridge, retrieving a carrot. He went out to the front yard and held the carrot out--slowly the caribou approached the small fox, and after eating the tasty carrot, trotted off back into the woods.

The next morning, nobody believed TJs story--not even Sam. His mom just said that he had "Christmas on the brain", and his dad just made a "hmmm" sound from behind the morning paper.
