Amarandith did not need to use her clairvoyant powers to see that beyond Isobel's elegant and beautiful exterior laid a troubled soul.
She could feel the burden of destiny on her shoulders, clearer than she could on most others. Fascinated by but also full of empathy for her fellow dragoness she felt the wish to help, to give comfort.
The clear night was perfectly suited, as the two relaxed at the serene scenery of the crystal clear lake.
The touch of her fingers caused the water to glow in union with the dancing fireflies as she focused on Isobel's future. The short glimpse that her powers allowed was all that she needed.
As the magical glow faded from the waves, she looked at the dragoness and smiled. With almost motherly care, she reassured that no matter how much trouble was on her way, how many worries were on her mind - the future was not all dark. One day she would find peace and happiness. That was for sure!"



This is a gift for my close... make that closest friend,  miko-chan.
As some of you might know, she is going through some hard time right now, and I hope that this gift will cheer her up a little.
The idea for it was somewhat old... but it never seemed more fitting than right now. Just like Amarandith is offering comfort to Isobel, so do I want to offer it to you. Because I am sure that you will find happiness once the hard times are over. You deserve to be happy!
