You can get some serious power out of that Honda

nah it's just a D15B2. it's stock HP is 92. ;) of course, that's nothing a T4 turbo can't fix

but there are alot of better motors, like the D15B7 (92-95 Civic DX or LX). It's basically the MPFI version of the D15B2. The only advantage to the D15B2's DPFI is that it has two throttle valves and two injectors in the throttle body. This configuration causes the air entering the intake to swirl and the dual injectors can give a more specific amount of fuel for the situation.

What about a SI?

the 88-91 Civic and CRX Si uses the D16A6. That one is only 108HP. If you move up to a 92-95 Civic Ex or Si you get the D16Z6, which is the VTEC version of the D16A6 (125HP).

I'm going to take a VTEC motor and pump out 400HP out of it

now that is an easy thing to do. VTEC motors tend to rev higher. My honda performance guy has a B20 that was made into a VTEC (head swap). He added a HUGE turbo and a bunch of performance mods. He has a 800hp street legal Civic. ;)

What does it run in the 1/4

ooo 4th gen civic. I have a 2nd gen CRX myself (same car, diff body). I know alot about this model. Let me know if you need any help. I'm just about an expert when it comes to the intake on the D series motors, mainly the D15B2 (that motor)
