Posted on a hidden DA account to spur a little discussion after the whole Ramy incident at Metrocon and Otakon. Haha. Figured you guys would take less OFFENSE to it. Pose pretty much referenced off of generic anime babe art.

I miss FFVII fanart. Advent Children Tifa just doesn't feel the same to me. All that movie was was pretty much a huge fight scene. This seriously took me less than two hours. You too can become a photoshop master with enough blur and dodge tools.

If you like this sort of style, I'm honestly curious as to what you find appealing about it. To me, it's cookie-cutter and really dull to draw. I just get bored. Every technique I shamelessly slapped onto this made me feel dirty. Used A THOUSAND TUTORIALS ON HOW TO DRAW ANIME EYES to learn to colour this thing. Honestly, I was just curious as to how stuff like this gets made, and while it might be neato keen for some people, it's so not my gig. I did learn a couple of cool things in the process, so it's not a total loss.
