My cat Lorelei passed away yesterday. She died peacefully, and had been in my family for at least twelve years. I wish I had an older picture of her, back before her blue eyes had begun to fade, but ah well. Beautiful, regal, soft as hell, and just about the sweetest thing ever, she will always be remembered in my heart.
