Dex is a recently graduated animator working on who had to recently move into his girlfriend's place with his daughter after his apartment was condemned. He is currently trying to make a pilot so he can have his own cartoon series while also taking oddjobs for income in the meantime, and to take care of his daughter.
He can be cynical at times and easily angered especially when it comes to things her doesn't like about people, whether it be egotism or cruelty for the sake of cruelty. He also has a soft side for people he cares about but prefers to keep people some distances away. Out of fear of getting close to some one only for them to get hurt. He is extremely protective of his daughter, and would go to hell and back for her.
