I am very glad to report that all six of the eggs that we where trying to hatch out have hatched =)

My dad saved six Snapping Turtle eggs a few months back from some angry golfers... they where beating the mother with gold clubs. So my dad stepped in picked the mother up and put her in the river near by and went back and saved the eggs and he thought it would be kool to try and hatch them out.

We didn't think they would hatch at all because if you don't have the temp just right the eggs die and its been just a bit over the time limit for them hatch.

Please Note that they once they are a few weeks old and the yoke sac on there tummy is gone and they are eating right they will be set free back in to the wild.
