Composed in Finale 2006, played by the programs GM sound set.

Where can I get this program?

Usually, you have to buy it. It ain't cheap.

How much is it?

600 Bucks, but, if I can make a suggestion; try both finale notepad and the demo for sibelius student first. they are both free, however only let you have 8 staves per file.

I personally use Sibelius 5.2, and think it is a better program by far than Finale (and have both, in fact, I pirated finale 2006 from my old university). With the educational discount, however, you can get it for half the price of the full version (Sibelius 5.2 and now Finale 2008/9).

Prove you are in school, HS or College, and they will give you the discount. :3

I bought the Line 6 Tone Port for my guitar and it has Ableton Live with it But I'll look in to it

With Sibelius and Finale, you could have used what is called Micin or MicNotator (respectively) and not worried about buying any special thing. It actually listens to your guitar's tones and sometimes (if you have the right/expensive enough mic) vibrations to properly notate from your guitar.

Heck, my dad, in Nashville (owns a recording studio) only composes with his guitar. :3 He uses both Finale, Motu, and Sibelius. :3

Gearbox is the software that comes with Tone Port for the guitar amps I love it I can switch from my Fender squire Strat to my Washburn Spirit by Oscar Schmidt

You can also buy Finale Printmusic (the one I use) it's far cheaper than Finale, but it's still pretty good. It only has 24 staves, but it can still make some good music.

I'll look into Finale Printmusic the next time I go to Guitar Center

Nice piece. I would love to record this using real instruments sometime, but do not have access to bass drum and snare currently, since I left my drum set back in ohio; and wont have my french horn til about march when I head back to ohio for my brother's senior performance recital.
