After finally having convinced her trainer to let her go out and explore the forests, Skye was very much looking forward to some kind of adventure. as she moved deeper into the woods, she couldn't help but think of nearly everything she came across as fascinating. the tall trees, the Butterfree that fluttered through the skies, even the dirt itself peaked her interests, for someone who spent most of her life basically being a pampered pet, this was all just very exciting to her.

Soon after, a patch of bright red flowers caught her eye, she couldn't resist, she had to go check them out.
trotting over to the flowers she starts to sniff at them and she loved their spicy scent, but then out of no where she gets this eerie feeling of being watched by someone or something.

She quickly raises her head, looking from side to side and front to back, but she sees nothing...maybe it was just her imagination?
feeling safe once again, she turns her attention back to the flowers...or at least she tried to. instead of seeing the flowers, she sees a big furry creature with two big red eyes staring at her! With a startled gasp escaping her muzzle, she jumps back with her hackles raised.

She was expecting some big, scary Pokemon to either fight with or run away from, but instead what she got was something a little more odd;
A big brown Ursaring hanging upside down on a thin tree branch and looking straight at her with a goofy smile. it was such a strange sight for a moment there she thought she really was just imagining the whole thing!

"Hey there, You must be new here, 'cuz I've never seen you around these woods."
He said as he dangled off the branch.

"Uhm, Yeah, my trainer and I just moved here...Uh, why are you doing that?...HOW are you doing that?"
She asked.

"Doing what?"

"That. that dangling thing you're doing, aren't you a bit heavy for that?"

"Aw, this? Nah, not really. 800 pounds is actually much lighter than what people really say it i--"

Before anything else could be said, the weak branch finally snaps, dropping the bear-like Pokemon face first onto the ground.

"Oh my gosh, A-are you alright?"
Skye asked him worryingly.

"Nevermind...800 pounds is actually really, REALLY heavy."
He mumbled.

He sits up, shakes his body to get all the dirt from his fur and then licks his lips a bit, then he turns to introduce himself.

"My names' Dalton, what's yours?"

"Lots of humans and Pokemon know me as AmberHeart Radience, but my real name is Skye."

"Oh, yeah, I like that name better. it's a pretty name."

"Yes, thank you, I'm sure it is...well, it was nice meeting you, but I gotta go now."

She tries to leave, but the Ursaring started to follow her.

"Cool, so where we goin'?"

"N-no, no, I'M going to keep looking around in the forest, YOU are going to sit right here, or...go do something else, okay?"

"But can't I just come with--"

"No."

"Are you sure I can't--"

"No."

"Not even for a few--"

"No, No, NO! I just want to look around the forest by myself, thank you, I don't want or need any company right now, so could you please just leave me alone and stop following me?!"

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry...I'm just a bit lonely and I thought, y'know, we could hang out or something..."

"Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm not exactly the most social Pokemon...I don't socialize with many people aside from 2 other Pokemon and a human, and honestly I prefer to keep it like that. so I'm sorry I'm not as open as you'd like, and I hope you find some new friends, okay."

After saying her final goodbyes to the Ursaring, Skye turns and presses forward, going past him and walking off.
the sad Ursaring hangs his big, fluffy head low and lets out a deep sigh, but then something in the dirt catches his eye, something he felt that Skye really needed to know about.

"H-Hey! Hey!...Skye come back!"
He calls out to her.

Skye turns her head to see him running toward her at an alarmingly quick pace. finding his clinginess annoying, she decides to not say a word and just run forward to get away from him.

"Wait, Skye come back! I wanna show you something!!!"
He cried out to her.

But she payed no attention to him at all, she only ran faster.
jumping over a bunch of bushes, she decides to try and hide from him, she lay low and still in the foliage and he runs right past them. with a sigh of relief, she figured it was all over, but she was wrong, as somehow, Dalton had found her and was 'hiding' along with her by sitting right beside her!

"Wow, you sure can run fast!"
He chuckled.

Surprised, she makes a run for it once again, this time by hiding in a seemingly abandoned Vulpix den, that unfortunately was already occupied...by Dalton.

"Well this is a tight spot, ain't it?"
he said with a goofy grin.

But of course, Skye just gasped and ran somewhere else.
she couldn't get away from him, everywhere she went, he was somehow already there.

Behind a big tree, he was there.
Inside a Zubat cave, he was there.
Inside a fallen log, only half of him was there because his bottom was too big to fit...

Running away once again, Skye was quickly becoming exhausted, but that Ursaring seemed to have limitless energy...just where was he getting it all from?!

Skye then suddenly sees something up ahead that makes her try her best to slow down; A small pond filled with water, something she just can't stand. due to how quickly she was running at first, she had difficulty slowing to a stop, but in a matter of seconds, she succeeds in stopping just a few feet away from the horrible water on a flat-top rock that pointed forward.

With a sigh of relief, she is just happy to still be dry, but unfortunately, she then remembered the Ursaring that was chasing after her. turning around after hearing the sound of his voice yet again, she notices that he's coming extremely fast and that he doesn't see the pond.

She tries to get him to stop, but he's just running too quickly to even think about stopping.
with him so close and no where else to move on the small pointed rock, she braces herself and they both topple into the water!

Soaking wet and covered in mud, he couldn't help but just laugh at the whole incident.
but his laugh wasn't normal, it was loud and strange and annoying.

"G'FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH! G'FWAH-FWAH-FWAH!"
he cackled strangely.

But Skye was not laughing, not at all. she, like a lot of Typhlosions, was furious.

"You think this is funny? You big oaf! You-You-You big Stupid ass!"

"Aw c'mon, it's no big deal, it's just a little water."
He said to her while still chuckling a bit.

"I'm a Fire-type, We hate water!"

"Oh...OH! Yeah, I think I get it now, gee, that sure does explain why you're so hot, I just thought you had a fever."

"AAURRRGHH!! If my fire wasn't out, I'd..Ugh...Just--What do you want from me? Why did you chase me all around the forest like that?"

"I was trying to give this back to you. You dropped one of your sparkly thingies."

Showing her a glittering object in one of his paws, she sees that it was one of the rhinestones missing from her purple collar.

"Wait a minute, you stalk me throughout the entire forest and knock me into some water just to return a fake diamond to me?"

"Yyyyyyessss...?..."

"Thank you, that's very sweet...I think. How were you running so fast even though you're so big?"

"Oh, I have the Quick Feet ability. meaning when ever I get some kind of status problem it makes me faster. I was just lucky/unlucky enough to have a Beedrill sting me on the butt."

"Oh, well I'm sorry that happened to you, and I'm sorry I snapped at you like that. I just have a really bad temper."

"I noticed. I think it's cool, not many things actually bother me, really."

"So I've noticed."
She chuckled.

She then sees the sun beginning to set, moving further and further behind the giant trees.

"Oh goodness, well I think it's time I start going back home. If I'm even a minute after curfew my human will have a worry-fit."

"Okay then, but when do you think you'll be back? I just wanted to apologize for all this, and I thought maybe I could finish showing you around the forest since, y'know, I kinda ruined that for you earlier. I-If you're okay with that, that is. feel free to say No again if you want."

Skye was quite for a moment, shifting her eyes around, thinking of how to respond, and rather enjoying the pained and nervous look on his face as a small bit of payback for all the trouble he caused her earlier. and with a mischievous smile she stands up, turns around and walks off.

That was it. That was the 'No' answer that he dreaded, only it hurt even more since she said absolutely nothing to him, he knew he had blew this chance to make a new friend. he was going to be lonely forever...or so he thought, as Skye then suddenly stopped walking and turned her had back toward his direction and began to speak to him.

"I'm done thinking, How about I see you tomorrow? We can meet again right here by this pond."

She enjoyed that look of absolute doom as payback at first, but now she likes that bright, stupid look of unspeakable joy on his face even more.
