I don't have an US 3DS (It's a Japan import) so I can't really play the remakes, but I'm still divided if I want to get them. I've heard they removed the Battle Frontier that starred in Emerald, and that was my favorite part of the third gen (Short of starting the game over, it was the only thing that held my attention after I beat the game and caught the legendaries)
