Did you know that zippos are golden colored under their silver exterior? I sure didn't.

I've had this lighter for yonks, but I never used it because it had an ugly tire logo on it. Well this is what happens to ugly things in my presence, I hit them with power tools. I wasn't expecting the color change, but I think it adds something to it. Of course I can also do just a light surface etch and maintain the silver finish on future ones.
