"Lan Made Color Her Bitch" would have also been an acceptable title. /divaflips
I had an urge to try something out with hard edges and crazy colors, then I had an urge to make a pony after an Owl City song so I just combined the two. XD
The lyrics consist of basically being the colors in everything, so I made a pony that can change his colors much like a chameleon... actually much more dynamically, like a cuttlefish.
He does not have a set color palette since he can be pretty much anything. If he were to be in greyscale though then his mane is typically a lighter tone than his body.
You can call him Tech... or Phase... e7e
Also I'm considering putting this up on my redbubble as like a poster or a shirt or something. eue

I was trying to be more creative than just slapping a cheesy rainbow on him.
They represent cells because of his skin cells that change color dynamically, and are hexagonal in shape to conform to the rest of the sharp, pointed angles in the line art. The line both represents a reading on a heart monitor and audio waves, since his colors are always alive and constantly changing like in the song, never static. Also it's audio waves because again, he's designed after a song. The motif continues even in the edges of his hooves and the cell pattern in the background.
The hexagons would have been simple squares like pixels if I hadn't been aware that I've used that effect a few too many times in previous pictures. Nothing is random, everything was deliberate and carefully hand-picked.

I actually like the idea of the hexagons, cause.. that's one of nature's better use-all-the-space storage methods. Plus.. if the color-changing cells were packed that tightly, they'd probably BE hexagonal.
OOH! And i didn't even NOTICE the hoof-edges! That's quite cool!
And dude? Creative? You definately did that, in spades!
