I was inspired by the book of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, "Wind, sand and stars", for this draw.
The text come from a true letter of Saint-Exupéry:
"Tu vas sourire... J'élève un renard fénech et essaye de le domestiquer... C'est plus petit qu'un chat doté d'immenses oreilles. C'est adorable. Malheureusement, il est sauvage et rugit comme un lion!
Imagine un pilote qui tenterait de domestiquer un renard!"
"You will smile... I breed a fennec fox and try to domesticate it... It's smaller than a cat fitted with huge ears. It's delightful. Unfortunately, he's wild as a big cat and roared as a lion!
Imagine a pilot who attempt to domesticate a fox!"
I think that it's this fennec which gived to Saint-Exupéry the idea of the story around the character of the fox in "The Little Prince" and maybe also the other one that he described in "wind, sand and stars" when he's lost in the Lybian desert.

I love them too! When I've got time in my reading, I try to began a new book from him now that I've received three news. And more of that' I don't know if they are translated in english, they are some comics about him and about the other of the Aéropostales which are publishing in France, I have read one of them, called "Saint-Exupery, the lord of the desert", on the one they speak about his 18 months passed at Cap Juby, it was really good.
