November 23nd is “ii fusai no hi”, or the day for good couples.
It’s kind of a play on words as 11 and 23 can be read “ii” (good) and “fusai” (married couples), respectively.
I don’t really know what they actually do on “ii fusai no hi”, though. We have many “special days” like this in Japan.
