Dojo Story 5

: <Faith> ::The albino vixen made her way, constantly checking the little scrap of paper in paw and looking around her, there was no lift, like many places, Faith would walk, in her full shrine robes, all the way to the dojo... as she finally lifted her head, blinked, and then looked back at the address again... slipping it away as she looked to the building:: I guess... this is it? *She blinked a little, it was easy to see how hard these students worked certainly, as she kept quiet, entering, and ensuring to leave her sandals at the threshold of the door, waiting and watching, not wanting to interrupt just yet, a small smile there too*
: ** Loud cries ring the halls as students prepare to finish the afternoon lessons. Master Clay can be heard crying out students name. Forcing them to push themselves** <Clay> Zuna! Get those legs moving! This is a cool down and I wanna see you sweat! <Nicolas> Sir, Yes Sir! <Clay> Nicole, finish those jumping jacks and then hit the shower! <Nicole> *jumping with her friend Joann on her back* Sir Yes Sir! <Clay> The rest of you punks hit the shower. I'm pleased today so you can leave early. MOVE!
: *Rene looked out of the office window where he was working and saw Faith entering. He walked out of the office* Hey Faith! *Waves and walks over to her.*
: <Faith> *There was a familiar face, as she grinned, and waved in return, moving forward, still with an eye on the students training* Hey there, so this is your new place of work?
: <Faith> Must be nice working beside your girlfriend, huh? *She grinned, happy to offer him a now-entirely-cast-and-bandage-free hug!*
: Rene: Sort of. *He smirked, giving his cousin a hello hug* It's not so much for the money as it is for the, ah, show. *Looks over at Nicole*
: Rene: ...So what're you doing here Faith?
: ** Nicole jumping with Joann strapped to her back. Nicolas running the perimeter of the dojo calling to Faith and Rene** <Nicolas> Hey guys!
: <Faith> You DID say I should come round some time. *She grinned, releasing the hug to stand again, looking to the Nidorino with a blink, and a wave* Good Afternoon!
: Rene: Hey Nick! *Looks over at Nicole and Joann* Hey! Careful with the sandshrew, Nicole! You break her, you bought it!
: <Faith> *A light blink at the sandshrew there herself* Huh.
: <Clay> You can join in too, hot head. Never too late to sweat. Bring the cute girl with you. *pointing to Faith* <Joann> I'm okay Yipe! *she screams as Nicole adds more height to her jump.
: Rene: *Rolls his eyes at Clay as he walks over with Faith* ...Sorry about him. He's a randy, randy perv. But an okay guy anyway.
: <Nicole/Nicolas> Almost Done sir! <Clay> I heard that, Rene.
: Rene: *Looks abashed and coughs, then tries to cover it by looking up at Nicole* Geeze Nicole, are you part lopbunny? ...Nice view though.
: <Faith> *She laughed nervously to Rene, shrugging, but nodding, as she made her way forward a little apprehensively, but forward anyway towards the Chan there, giving her usual bow*
: Good afternoon, Faith Sumisu of the Sumisu Shrine, nice to meet you.
: Rene: Everyone, this is my cousin. *He announced proudly*
: <Clay> You can call me Clay. *Give a small bow. before calling to the Nido twins.*... All right! that's enough you Wurmples! Take a break! *Both Nidos relax while Joann hugs Rene and waves to Faith.*
: Rene: *Hugs Joann* Vuul! Hey Jo-jo. Nice to see you. Did you have fun up there?
: <Nicolas> Hows it going, Faith? *wiping sweat from his body.* <Joann> It was awesome. ^.^
: <Faith> *She giggled, looking immediately to the Sandshrew who'd came to Rene, waving back, before nodding to the well-worked out Nico* Fine now that I'm free of my string shot shell, thanks! *She waved her castless wrist*
: <Faith> Looked like you guys were really working up a storm out there!
: Rene: Guess that makes you the first flying sandshrew, doesn't it? *Pokes her, looking up to Nicole and wrinkling his nose* Yeah....you need a shower something bad
: <Nicole> *popping another antidote pill into her mouth* .... She's only saying that because i did all the work. <Nicolas> *to faith while popping a similar pill* It'll be missed. You don't look the same without it.
: Rene: *A thought occurs to him* Say....you know, without the casts Faith and I look as much like twins as you two Nidos do! *Moves back to back with Faith, still hugging Joann* Double twin powers, activate!
: <Faith> *She snirked* Well... here's hoping I don't have to have one for a good while! *She threw herself after Rene into a pose, grabbing a medicine ball to copy him with the 'shew!*
: <Faith> Form of- *She had no clue where to take it, as she threw it back to Rene here!*
: Rene: ....a pair of nuts?
: <Faith> A pair of faux paus?
: <Clay> *snerk*X3 <Nicolas> *rolling his eyes* sounds about right X3
: Rene: ...That was awful. *Looks to Nicole* I'm starting to understand what you have to go through having Nicolas. You have my sympathies
: <Nicole> I'll hit the shower and be right back.... It was fun when we were kids, but... <Nicolas> *striking the Fusion Dance pose* ...Its still fun
: Rene: Okay Nicole....be back soon or else I'm running off with Joann. *Gives the shrew a squeeze*
: <Joann> *blushing* Faith, are you Rene's sister?
: <Faith> Heh... *She relaxed a little, rubbing behind her head* I'm not a strong-suit at comedy... *She looked to Nicolas with a grin, and then back to Jo*
: <Faith> *A brim-smile there* Not sisters, but cousins, we just found out not long after I reached the academy!
: Rene: But we're as close as siblings anyway. Neither of us knew we had any extended family
: <Faith> Mmm, it's nice to have somewhere to call home away from the mountain temple!
: <Joann> *looks on as she digests the data.... and then squees* That's so cool. You live in a temple? do you do kung fu there? <Nicolas> *bowing to Clay* Not that kinda temple Jojo.
: <Faith> *She laughed* Well... all the shrinekeepers have to learn how to fight... you'd probably have to ask my Father, or my brothers on that one...
: Rene: *Laughs and rubs Joann's head* Nah....they perform rituals and meditations and wait for the return of the missing lucario. And when he comes back....they're gonna sacrifice you to him! *Gives Joann a poke*
: <Faith> *A light bop of one of her tails came for the back of Rene's head, as she still snickered* Don't tease her
: Rene: *Bopped* But it's so fun! She's too cute not to tease. *Sticks out his tongue at his cousin* Tell her Jojo!
: <Joann> I can't be sacraficed O.O I still have stories to write. <Nicolas> So Faith, want to have a glance around. It smells in here but its home. <Clay> It smells just fine.
: <Faith> It's fine to me too! *She admonished, rolling her eyes at Rene a little, but still laughing before she'd nod to Nicolas* Yes, please, Rene's told me a lot about this dojo!
: Rene: *Rubs her back* Naaaah. I think we can let you off the hook Joann. Wann helpa me show Faith around?
: <Joann> *tugging on Nicolas's and Rene's arms> Sure.
: <Nicolas> *leading them around the dojo, showing the many posters and scrolls along the walls* ....And this is master Long and his daughter. they also run the dojo with Master Clay
: Rene: *Holds Joann's arm and looks to Nicolas.* One....two...
: <Faith> Huh... you have a lot of Masters... *She observed a little, and then looked back to Nicolas and Rene on their count...*(
: Rene ....three! *In synch with Nicolas, swing their arms--at Joann---forward*
: <Nicolas> Three! *The young Shrew is sent soaring into the air as the two boys send her upwards* <Joann> Gah!!!
: <Faith> *She yelped a little, watching the 'shrew go flying up!!!*
: Rene: *Giggles* Gee Joann you're flying all over the place today!
: <Nicolas> *acting like nothing happened* Well Master Long generally oversees the training. His daughter oftem handles the girls, and Clay takes care of the guys.
: Rene: *Rene points to a mat* Look over there Faith. That's where I beat Nicole in a spar for the first time just a little while ago!
: <Faith> Guys- *As usual, Faith wasn't one to see the funny side just yet, as she suddenly bounded, kicking off the floor, up, up, and GRABBED Joann, her gloves giving off a familiar blue glint!*
: *It seemed for the moment Rene would have to reminisce for a second alone, as she curled herself around Joann, and a bubble of blue burst between the two gems, covering them both, Protecting them as they smacked the floor*
: *...And rolled, hamster-ball style to a stop* Phew...
: <Clay> *watching Faith closely* <Nicolas> That was impressive. <Joann> *pouting at Faith* aww I could've landed... *struck dumb by the bubble* Wow You know magic O.O
: <Faith> Do they do this often? *She looked to the 'shrew in arms, NOW laughing a little as the bubble faded back into her twin gems*
: Rene: Yup, Jojo. My cousin is a sorceress. Careful or she'll turn you into a treecko!
le... *But she did smile back at Joann there, watching her and Rene together...*
: Rene: *Looks at his cousin, giving her is, 'ain't she a cutie?' look regarding Joann* Did you know that Joann is writing a book about me and Nicole?
: <Nicolas> *walking to the matt, he takes a deep breath and flips, but lands flat on his side* Oof... See. Not nearly as bad as i I fell on my back. <Clay> No prob. Nicolas that fall still stank.
: <Faith> That's pretty cool! *She grinned to Rene, before wincing as she looked to Nicolas* Guess I could go learning how to do that... it'd save me a lot on medical bills!
: <Nicole> *running from the shower fully dressed.* Did you read it yet, Rene? *fumbling to put on her ring chain*
: Rene: *Snerks at his cousin* Yes. Yes it would.
: <Faith> *She was poking a pocket of her robes, as a little wind chime began to float up and out with a yawn* Jingles, will you go check on Nicolas, please?
: Rene: It's done already? *Looks at Joann in mock anger* You said you'd tell me as soon as it was! Bad shrew! Bad! *Hugs her to show he's kidding*
: <Jingle-chan> Chi-chime! *He saluted with a tiny little stub of an arm, floating over to the Nidorino, already releasing a soothing chime sound*
: *She meanwhile turned back, grinning again, looked like Rene already had an extended family even before her as she looked to him, Joann, and Nicole now too!*
: Rene: *Smiles at Nicole as she put on the ring* Nicole? Care to show Faith what you have there?
: <Faith> Hmm? *She blinked, coming forward and leaning in a little*
: <Nicolas> *looking at the chime dazily* Sweeeeet music.... <Joann> No its not done. Nicole read it without my permissin. I jush have a few pages.
: Rene: Oh....without your permission? Ooooh, I'll punish Nicole for you later. I'm sorry. *Hugs Joann again*
: <Jingle-chan> *In a short second or so, the chiming would do its work, it wouldn't restore stamina, but it would at least get rid of the pain, and get rid of any chance of bruising* Chime?
: Chime chi? *He floated down, looking to see if his work was done*
: <Nicole> *leaning foreward while she wrestled with the clasp* Pretty cool eh? Its Rene's mom's. <Nicolas> ..... @.@ Muuuusic...
: <Faith> *She giggled, admiring* That's great! Has Aunt Vera seen you with it on since she woke up?
: Rene: *Nodding* It's her class ring from when she went to the PCA. It's a promise ring
: <Jingle-chan> *The Chimecho mused... Nicolas still seemed dazed... he needed something to wake him out of it... as suddenly, his dome seemed to expand, and he burst out in a great, awful cry!!!*
: CHIIIIIIME!! *The alarm bells rang out, looking to bring Nicolas back to the world of the living!*
: <Joann> *looking at rene with a smile* She'd kick you butt. <Nicole> *blushing* Yeah... She was really sweet about it.
: <Faith> *She gave a quick peek back at Jingle's Astonish, but no more, grinning to them again* Well, I'm glad you guys get to stay together, definitely.
: <Nicolas> *hands clasping his ears down* OW!!!! Good feeling gone!! O.O
: <Jingle-chan> *A nod, his work done, he floated away, back to Faith, slipping himself away into one of her robe pockets*
: Rene: *Looking at Joann* Hey! I beat her last time, remember?
: <Faith> Out of how many times I wonder? *She grinned to her cousin, arms folded*
: *A quick pat for Jingles as he entered*
: Rene: *Ignores that remark* Hey! I totally handed Nicole her butt that last match. You were there Joann, tell her!
: <Joann> He won because he tickled her. <Nicole> I always win the rematches *winks at Rene*
: <Faith> Oh... he did that to me too... *She laughed slowly*
: Rene: *Contriving to look dignified* A win is a win. *Blushes as Nicole winks at him* Whose to say what's the rematch and what's the match?
: <Faith> I'll have to make sure I'm here next time you guys spar!
: <Nicolas> Anyone hear that alarm *massaging his ears* <Nicole> I'll be sure to kick each one of his tails for you Faith *nods*
: Rene: ...*Looks from Faith to Nicole, gulping* ...What've I done, bringing you two together?
: <Faith> You'll never catch me caught in a cast and exposed to your tickling tortures again, Ohana! *She declared with mock anger and vengeance!*
: Rene: *Pretends to shiver and hides behind Joann* Joann! The big girls are ganging up on me!
: <Joann> No kicking Rene's butt until I get to fight him first. *she stands with her arms folded to the two older girls.*
: <Faith> *She giggled* Oh, I wouldn't dream of it!
: Rene: *Looks at Joann* You....want to fight me? *Looks to Clay and the Zunas as if to ask just how good was Joann*
: <Zunas/Clay> *smile knowingly, but say nothing* <Nicole> I make no promises.
: <Faith> She could probably whip my tails, I wouldn't put it past her beating Rene too! *She half-laughed, but of course, there was a twitch of seriousness there...*
: *She imagined any of the three students here would have been able to do the job!*
: <Nicole> *to Faith*Well if you have the time... Maybe after classes, we can give you some tips. <Nicolas> Or some real training here, or at our place. It worked for Rene.
: <Faith> *She smiled a little* I don't know if I could train here... I'm already under a Mentor... I train with Izzy at the Cartegos, going to see Meg, never mind my own exercises!!
: *She laughed before nodding to them, smiling* ...But I'd never turn down any free advice.
: <nicole> I promise my bro will leave his pants on *broad grin at Nicolas's ears spring up indignantly>* <Nicolas> You and Sam need to knock before entering a gym!
: Rene: *Eyerolls at Nicolas*
: <Faith> *A light snigger from her there, just restrained a little*
: Rene: Faith, I already train with Tessa, Maggie, Zap plus I visit Meghan's gym, plus regular classes, and now I've started coming here too. I think you can manage
: Rene: *Looks to Joann* You really want to have a match squirt?
: <Faith> Well... *She rubbed behind her head, thinking* I don't want to lower my Aura training any more than I do for physical... but... I can certainly try.
: <Nicole> we'll keep it simple. <Nicolas> Besides physical training can help you with the strain of aura use. <Joann> *to Rene* Yup you're on the list.
: Rene: There's a list?
: <Faith> *She blinked, and smiled to them both, before giving her customary bow* Arigatou, gozaimas'.

: <Faith> Huh? *She blinked, leaning past Clay to look at the others*

: Rene: ....She didn't seem quite that bad to me...
: <Nicolas> She treats us boys differently for a separate set of reasons. *shakes head*

: <Faith> *Nicolas would find himself not receiving one tail bop, but two instead now, as she folded her arms* Rene's one of us!

: Rene: *Clings to Nicole and Joann* You two will take good care of my cousin, won't you?
: <Nicole> *salutes* we'll keep our eyes open. <Joann> Sure we will
: <Faith> *She nodded* Thanks again guys...
: Rene: Hmmmm, Nicole? Are you suuuuure, I can't adopt Joann?
: <Clay> *shrugs like they are making a mountain over a diglit hill* .... We'll keep things civil. Any arguments are settled on the mat. <Nicole> my shrewX3
: <Faith> Although I should probably head home now, it's a bit away from the Cartegos from here. *She laughed nervously*
: Rene: *Grabs one of Joann's arms* My shrew!
: <Nicolas> Would you like an escort? It'll only take a second for me to get dressed. Rene and Nicole can take Joann home.
: Rene: Okay! I'll take her to my home. *Holds Joann close* I could use a little sister!
: <Faith> *She blinked a little at the idea, but shook her head to Nicolas* Thank you, but I'll be fine.... I'd just worry about Joann. *She giggled*
: <Joann> Cool we can have a sleepover! <Nicole> *lifting both Rene and Joann* My shrew! <Nicolas> They are insane *chuckles*
: Rene: *Laughing as he's lifted up* My shrew!
: <Faith> But at least they're being insane together? *She offered with a grin*
: <Faith> *She gathered her robes together, smartening herself up a little, before giving a last bow to Master Clay, and then standing up* I look forward to training with everyone here!
: Rene: Me too cuz! *Clings to Joann as he clings to Joann* So does my shrew!
: <Nicolas> We'll see you soon. at school even. Tah tah. <Clay> *bows* see you around kiddo. <Joann> I'm not anyones shrew. You guys are MINE *grabs them both*
: Rene: *Squees* I'm good with that Jo!
: <Faith> *She grinned, nodding once more to them all, waving as she retrieved her sandals at the doorway, and tails bobbing behind her, began heading home once more!*

hehe, multi-person chats are always kinda hard to follow, but this was a really fun read. Looks like René AND Faith are really bulking up their combat training; we'll have to see if this improves the Turq's winning reccord.
