Yep: sheer laziness. XD Detailed rendering can take hours.. some of my pieces I've spent anywhere from 5 to 20 hours labouring over. There comes a point where I just don't feel like it anymore. o_o; Which the vast number of unfinished pieces lurking on my harddrive can testify to. :3
