Ok, so technically it isn't actually considered a sprite unless I use it a larger picture or animation (That's right, I actually looked it up) but whatever. For all intents and purposes I'd call it a sprite.
So yeah, I drew this entirely from pixels. And I tell you, when you're zoomed in so far the screen's only about 200 pixels (Maybe less) wide, it's pretty damn hard to get proportions right. Oh, and you may see there's more than one colour in the zoomed in section. This is not distortion. I actually shaded each section with several colours.
I'm thinking of doing a sprite-sheet of all my characters, with the help of Sean (He recently joined a sprite forum and within 3 days had the lead admin asking him for sprites. And he'd never said he'd do requests XD) It'll obviously be nothing this size. I'll never do anything like this again. I'm glad I did it, but it was too much trouble and even if I got really really good at it it'd still be quicker and look better to use Fireworks or Photoshop or something.
So yeah, possibility of sprite sheets in the works. Don't hold your breath.
